Release Wingman · Updated: 24 October 2026
General Terms and Conditions
Contract terms for using Release Wingman. Publishing these terms alone does not make them part of a contract without valid agreement.
1. Provider, scope and contract language
The provider is Jürgen Oman, Graben 33, 4020 Linz, Austria, account@releasr.net, VAT ID ATU72907116. These terms cover the Release Wingman web application for artists, bands and labels and apply to businesses and consumers where validly agreed. Agreed acceptable use terms also apply.
For purchases through Paddle, the Paddle entity identified at checkout is the seller and contracting party for the purchase and billing (Merchant of Record). Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy presented at checkout apply to that relationship. Jürgen Oman provides Release Wingman; these terms and the acceptable use terms govern the supplier relationship where validly agreed. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
The texts are available in German and English. The version chosen when contracting applies. No language or choice-of-law clause restricts mandatory consumer rights. Individually negotiated agreements take priority.
2. Services and requirements
Release Wingman organises artist and release content, creates EPKs and supports contact management, promo sending and planning. The scope is determined by the service description and plan agreed when contracting. A current browser and internet access are required. Sending through Release Wingman requires a verified reply address. Sending through your own SMTP account, which you must be authorised to use, is available only after separate approval.
The service is not music distribution and does not guarantee media contacts, coverage, streams, playlist placements or airplay. Delivery also depends on the user’s mail provider and receiving systems; no particular promotion result is owed.
3. Contract formation and current booking status
A public price comparison is not itself a binding contract. A paid contract requires an expressly confirmed order with a clear total price, scope and duration and acceptance by the relevant contracting party. Users must be able to correct input errors and save the terms before ordering; consumers receive the required confirmation on a durable medium.
Public registration and general access to paid booking remain closed. Selected test accounts can already purchase real paid subscriptions through Paddle. An administrative plan assignment or display of an upgrade button alone does not create a payment obligation. Free and manually assigned Unlimited access do not automatically become paid.
4. Prices, terms and plan changes
The total shown before a binding order is decisive; for consumers it must include applicable taxes and mandatory charges. With annual billing, the prominently displayed monthly rate is an equivalent for comparison. The separately stated annual total covers twelve months. Extra artists and any extra storage must be included in the total.
Monthly or annual terms and limits are expressly agreed when ordering. Upgrades, downgrades, artist-count changes and any prorated billing require clear confirmation of the effective date and price. These terms create neither retrospective charges nor a unilateral right to arbitrary price increases.
5. Renewal and cancellation
Free access does not become paid solely through the passage of time. For an expressly agreed recurring subscription, you may prevent the next renewal by cancelling by the end of the agreed billing period. Cancellation is always possible by email to account@releasr.net; an active online cancellation feature supplements this. Cancellation and account deletion are separate.
Automatic renewal applies only if validly agreed when contracting. For consumers, we undertake to send a separate notice at least 30 days before the planned renewal date stating the price, renewal period and the ability to cancel until the current term ends. No automatic payment obligation is inferred where a legally required notice or adequate response period is missing. Renewal into another fixed annual commitment requires a separately permissible agreement; mandatory rules of the consumer’s country of residence take priority.
After a downgrade takes effect, the agreed lower limits apply. Existing content is not immediately deleted solely because a limit is exceeded; further uploads or new content may be restricted until usage is within the limits. Rights to terminate for serious cause remain unaffected.
6. Consumer right of withdrawal
Consumers may withdraw from a distance service contract within 14 days of conclusion without giving a reason. Send a clear statement by email to account@releasr.net or by post to Jürgen Oman, Graben 33, 4020 Linz, Austria. Sending it before the deadline is sufficient. The model form below is optional. Any legally required electronic withdrawal function must additionally be provided for the relevant online contracting process.
Following a valid withdrawal, payments received, including refundable charges, will be returned without undue delay and within 14 days of receipt, using the same payment method unless another method is expressly agreed at no cost. Signing in or accepting terms alone does not remove the right of withdrawal.
If you expressly request service to begin within the withdrawal period, a proportionate charge is payable only where statutory requirements are met, including proper prior information. Merely starting an ongoing digital service does not cause complete loss of withdrawal rights. Statutory extensions for missing withdrawal information remain unaffected.
Model withdrawal form
To Jürgen Oman, Graben 33, 4020 Linz, Austria, account@releasr.net:
I/We hereby withdraw from the contract concluded by me/us for the provision of the following service: ______.
Ordered on: ______. Consumer name(s) and address(es): ______. Date: ______. Signature only for a paper statement: ______. Delete as appropriate.
7. Content and processing on your behalf
Your content remains yours. The limited permissions needed to provide and send content and the rules for lawful contacts are set out in the acceptable use terms. We do not acquire general exploitation rights in your music.
Where personal data is processed on your behalf, a separate agreement under Article 28 GDPR covering documented instructions, safeguards and subprocessors is required before that processing. These terms and the privacy policy do not replace it.
8. Operation, statutory remedies and liability
We provide the agreed features and address reported defects in accordance with law. Maintenance and technical faults may temporarily affect use; uninterrupted availability is not promised without an express service agreement. Statutory conformity, warranty and update duties, including under the Austrian VGG where applicable, remain unaffected.
Keep your own copies of important original files. This does not reduce our statutory duties regarding contractual service delivery or data security. Liability is governed by applicable law; these terms contain no blanket exclusion for data loss, personal injury, intent or gross negligence.
9. Changes, termination and applicable law
Material contract or service changes do not take effect simply because a new version is published. Required notices, agreements and statutory termination rights must be respected; silence is not generally treated as consent.
Before access ends, you may save accessible content and data and request return or deletion of personal data under applicable rules. Statutory export, privacy and return rights remain unaffected.
Austrian law applies. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory law in their country of habitual residence. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply; consumers are not bound to exclusive jurisdiction in Linz. Invalid clauses are replaced by statutory rules, not automatically by a commercially favourable clause for the provider.
